SAFETY.  This was the single most important criteria when DoorKing engineers designed our line of vehicular slide and swing gate operators.  Our unique fail-safe inherent entrapment protection system uses both a mechanical and electronic means to sense any entrapments in the gate during both the opening and closing cycles and will stop and reverse the gate if an obstruction is sensed.  This single most important feature has given DoorKing products a reputation as being the safest vehicular gate operators available and has made our products the operator of choice by many of the countries leading property management companies, corporate risk managers, professional gate system installation companies and private industry.  CLICK HERE for more information on gate operator safety issues.

REPORTING.  In addition to their outstanding safety design and record, DoorKing gate operators offer advanced features not found on other gate operator products.  DoorKing was the first to offer Gate Operator Reporting.  With our Gate Tracker™ system, DoorKing gate operators report their status to a companion DoorKing PC programmable access control system.  Know how many times the operator has cycled, if an obstruction was encountered, if an attempt was made to force the gate open, if a loop is shorted and more!

RELEASE.  Our fail-safe release design assures that your gates can be opened in the event of an emergency, even if power is unavailable.  This design feature supercedes battery backup systems (batteries can and do fail!) and has made DoorKing operators the operator of choice by many Fire Departments and Fire Authorities.

Other features include our automatic limit adjustment, plug-in loop detectors to simplify installation, simple design for ease of maintenance, our patented fail-safe release and our partial open / anti-tailgate feature (slide gate operators only).
